The above photos were taken by Alison Garratt, from the gliding club´s tow plane in July 1996. These pre-date:
- Building of the Defence Academy´s new main gate
- Change of the A420 and Majors Road junctions from T-junctions to roundabouts
- The expansion of MOD housing with the creation of Saxon Orchard and its surrounding roads
- Development of the Co-op / McDonalds / College Farm area
- Building of the school´s Foundation Stage unit and four new classrooms
- Conversion of the chapel into a private residence
